A little over a year after Ferrari lifted the sheet on the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, thanks to it being sneakily dropped into the official live showing of the Ferrari California, we’re getting the first glimpse of the drop-top version-the Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider.
We’re told we may be able to expect the unveiling of the topless stallion as early as November 5th when the Ferrari Challenge at Mugello begins.
On the powertrain, we’re expecting the same engine under the hood of the regular everyday Ferrari 430 Scuderia. As far as weight, we’re also told by the fabulous Finns at World Car Fans to expect production of the Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider to be limited to around 300 units. It will follow like the coupe being with a superlight structure, but with an additional 154 lbs. is likely to be added to the model’s 2,755 lb. curb weight due to the retractable hard top roof.
