According to a report on Driver’s Republic, Ferrari will unveil a special version of it’s 599 GTB flagship at the Geneva Auto Show.
Dubbed the 599 HGTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione), the performance model will follow in the footsteps of the 575M GTC and the 612 Scaglietti HGT-S, focusing added on all around performance rather than the car’s engine bay.
Changes from the standard car are expected to include an F430 Scuderia-inspired front grille, unique three-piece 20-inch wheels, a more aggressive tire package, and new revised exhaust outlets. Power should remain the same at 612hp (456kW) and 450lb-ft (608Nm) of torque, but expect the exhaust modifications to give the car an even louder growl. Handling will be improved via stiffer springs and thicker anti-roll bars. This setup will be integrated with the Manettino, which will feature new settings. Inside, the HGTE will sport new seats with carbon fiber shells.
Expect the HGTE models to cost roughly $25,000 more than the standard $302,000 asking price with sales to start soon after its March debut in Switzerland.
