For its latest Ferrari project Novitec Rosso went for a rare 599 SA Aperta. If there is one tuner in the world who knows how to improve Ferraris properly, that’s Novitec.

They managed to squeeze more than 200 more horses out of the car’s V12, which is mightily powerful in its standard form with 670 hp.

The conversion begins by bolting two superchargers to the Ferrari’s 6.0-liter V-12 engine. Novitec Rosso also adds a new intake manifold, larger fuel injectors, new exhaust manifolds, and a reprogrammed engine computer. The result is 888 hp at 8400 rpm and 636 lb-ft of torque at 6600 rpm, which Novitec Rosso says is enough to launch the SA Aperta to 0 to 62 mph in 3.1 seconds, 124 mph in just 9.1 seconds, and toward a top speed of 211 mph.

As to style, the tuning group added special lightweight wheels. The fronts measure 21 inches and weigh just 23 pounds, while the rear 22-inch wheels weigh 30 pounds — which is comparatively light for such large-diameter rolling stock.  The SA Aperta also benefits from Novitec Rosso springs that lower its ride height by 1.6 inches. Finally, the car gets new a carbon-fiber splitter, rear fascia, and side skirts, yellow brake calipers, as along with black-tinted tail- and foglights.

Given that all 80 copies of the 599 SA Aperta have already been sold, we doubt there is an enormous market for this latest Novitec Rosso twist. Buyers who do opt for the upgrade, however, will have one seriously unique car.

Novitec Rosso loves to play with the looks and engines of Ferrari supermodels, and the end-results are usually nothing short of awe-inspiring. We first got to meet their version of the 458 Italia at this year’s Geneva Motor Show in March, but this hasn’t stopped them from trying to outdo themselves.

Novitec Rosso released a small video of two Novitec Rosso Ferrari 458 Italias at their facilities in Southern Germany. Both are finished in red with black and carbon fiber details. Just as the name suggests, the two supercars are very similar, yet somehow different.

Both carry the same red and black finish with plenty of carbon fiber details, and a number of other cosmetic touches, including a new front spoiler, flaps on both sides of the central air inlet, fender-mounted carbon fiber ventilation louvers, and carbon fiber mirror housings.

The only thing that sets them apart are the three-piece Novitec Rosso NF3 wheels, with one model receiving a gloss black finish and the other receives a scarlet red touch.

As for the 4.5-liter Ferrari engines, they’ve received the same mods as the Geneva model, which means a carbon-fiber airbox, a high-performance exhaust system, as well as an ECU remap. The V8s now delivers 609 hp and a peak torque of 569 Nm, pushing the supercars to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).

The Germany aftermarket specialist has also taken care of the supercar’s interior, installing a special leather/Alcantara upholstery and carbon fiber trimming.

Novitec Rosso, a company that deals with tuning for the sports cars, will present a more powerful and sportier version of the Ferrari 599 GTO at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The two-seater car is equipped with the new, extremely light Novitec Rosso forged wheels to improve the power-to-weight ratio and for even more dynamic handling.

The company noted that its engine specialists developed a more powerful version of the proven twin-compressor six-liter four-valve V12 engine for the sport version of the Ferrari 599. Further, the company also optimized both high-performance superchargers, driven by a cogged V-belt and lubricated by a dedicated oil circuit.

The Stetten, Germany based company has incorporated large water-to-air intercooler that is essential for maximum power yield and healthy engine temperatures. The modified sports car features a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system that ensures unimpeded exhaust-gas flow. This exhaust system, which features four black-coated tailpipes with diameters of 90 millimeters, also provides drivers the opportunity to select different exhaust notes.

This super sports car can generate a maximum power output of 888 hp at 8,400 rpm with a peak torque that increases by 178 lb ft (242 Nm) to 636 lb ft (862 Nm) at 6,600 rpm. This powerful engine when mated with a six-speed F1 transmission coupe can sprint 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds and to 124 mph (200 km/h) in just 9.1 seconds with a top speed of more than 211 mph (340 km/h).

The powerful version of Ferrari 599 GTO will come with silver special paint with yellow cross stripe and white patches for the starting number is reminiscence to the Ferrari 250 GTO racing car. Upon customer request Novitec Rosso also offers exclusive interior options in any desired leather or Alcantara color for the lightweight-construction Ferrari.

Novitec Rosso is finally done with their thorough package for the divine Ferrari 458 Italia and will unveil the finished product at the Geneva Motor Show which is due in a week. It gets 609 hp.

The 4.5-liter V8 of the Ferrari is equipped with new carbon-fiber airbox with modified air routing, Novitec’s high performance exhausts that are 21 kg lighter than the stock version, newly programmed engine electronics with newly calibrated mapping for ignition and injection.

As a result it can now manage 609 hp / 448 kW at 9,100 rpm. The torque has also gone up from 540 Nm to 569 Nm at 5,400 rpm. The extra power translates into a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).

Novitec has also tried improving on 458′s spot on aerodynamics by using their own body kit which they have fine-tuned in the wind tunnel of the University of Stuttgart. The components are made from especially light high-strength carbon fibers and give the car an unabashed racing look while reducing its weight. It includes add-on front spoiler, flaps to the right and left of the central air inlet, wings and the fender-mounted ventilation louvers and specially designed rocker panels for better air flow, as well as a rear spoiler and a carbon-fiber diffuser that incorporates three tailpipes with a diameter of 90 millimeters.

As for the wheels, the car gets three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 of size 9Jx21 wheels in front and size 12Jx22 on the rear with 255/30 ZR 21 at front and at the rear tires in size 335/25 ZR 22 Pirelli P-Zero tires. The modified suspension drops the car by 30mm, but it also has a lift system that can lift it again by 40mm.

The interior benefits form lots of leather and Alcantara as well as carbon fiber parts and scuff plates.

In stock form, the engine used in a new Ferrari California roadster cranks out a solid 453 horsepower — more than adequate for most owners. That said, if you’re lusting for more power from an open top Ferrari and didn’t manage to grab an SA Aperta, Novitec Rosso’s Race 606 California may be your ride.

The Race 606 California derives its name from what lurks inside the engine bay. The German tuning firm took the stock direct-injection 4.3-liter V-8, and fitted it with a supercharger, a water-to-air intake manifold, and larger fuel injector. As a result, the blown engine cranks out an impressive 606 horsepower (153 ponies more than stock), and is reportedly capable of rocketing the convertible from 0-62 mph in under 3.8 seconds — an improvement of two-tenths of a second.

In order to let that supercharged V-8 breathe, Novitec engineered a bespoke stainless steel exhaust system, which also sports butterfly valves that bypass the mufflers. The valves are electronic and tied to the Manettino controller, which allows them to be bypassed when performance driving modes are selected.

In typical Novitec fashion, the German tuner also saw fit to toss in some cosmetic upgrades. A new carbon fiber front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and decklid spoiler not only lend the California an aggressive look, but also reportedly aid aerodynamics. Those concerned with weight will be happy to know that Novitec not only adds three-piece carbon-fiber wheels (measuring 21 inches in front and 22 inches in back), but also replaced the stock retractable hardtop with one fabricated from the same composite material.

The Race 606 package doesn’t include any interior modifications, but customers can have Novitec reupholster and restyle the cabin’s materials to their wishes. No pricing information on the conversion has been announced, but it’s safe to surmise that the Race 606 conversion will be as costly as it is powerful.

Novitec Rosso, a well known tuning company has given the Ferrari model F430 sports car a very classy make up. This opinion though was not in agreement with Michiel van den Brink and ZR Auto who decided a few more additions and alterations were needed upon the car. The Canadian firm was also responsible for the 1200 HP Gallardo while Michiel van den Brink is the one who made the famous Ferrari Vandenbrink GTO. It can therefore be expected that the additions to the F430 can only be one of pleasure to the eye.

There are but few images which have been made available of this hopefully beautiful tweaking of the F430. What can be expected is that Michiel van den Brink would have been taking over the works on the exterior of the car, with ZR Auto taking the responsibility of tweaking performance features. Possibly we would get a 1200 hp F430? Results of this make over are yet waited with eagerness.

The present car has a red exterior paint and black stripes with the ZR Auto logo upon it. Its wait and watch for the real car to come out of production.

Ferrari F430 SD SU35 by Status Design

Russian tuning firm Status Design has come up with a modification package for the Ferrari 430 that offers more style and power- two things we can’t get enough of.

Dubbed SD SU35 ( this is the name of a Russian fighter jet), the kit upgrades the 430′s V8 from 490 hp to 525 hp through the use of high-flow air filters, a sports exhaust system with a sound regulation feature and an ECU remap. This allows the car to offer a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).

However, for the more demanding customers, the tuning company can install a Novitec Rosso supercharger that places the powerplant in the 700 hp league.

The Ferrari 430 SD SU35 comes with a 430 Scuderia-inspired exterior finish, being dressed in red and wearing two gray racing stripes. The car borrows more from the Scuderia model than just the paint scheme, as it also comes with Scuderia front and rear bumpers. The car rides on Scuderia rims that house a new ceramic braking system.

The tuning company has also fitted a set of exterior carbon fiber elements, including the mirrors, hood, spoiler and sideskirts.

Novitec Rosso Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti may be the oldest horse in the Italian automaker’s Modenese stable, but Stetten, Germany-based tuner Novitec Rosso is determined to give the 2+2 a fresh touch-up.

Renowned for its subtle approach to modifying Ferraris, Novitec took the grand-touring coupe and added little more than a new stainless-steel exhaust system, recalibrated engine electronics, larger wheels, and interior upgrades. The reworked electronics and exhaust boosts extra power, pushing the front-mid-mounted 5.7-liter V12 to 558 hp and 449 pound-feet of torque. (Factory output is 533 hp and 434 pound-feet of torque.) Although power is only part of the total performance equation, the Novitec-tuned 612 jumps from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and carries a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).

The main feature of the exterior is the new set of wheels. These new three-piece NF3 alloy wheels which come in size 9Jx20-inch for the front and 12.5Jx21 for the rear with 275/30 ZR30 and 355/25 R21 Pirelli P Zero tires really match the unique style of the 612.

Inside, Novitec offers new, ergonomically shaped steering wheels available in any color. In addition to color, the steering wheel’s construction material and rim thickness may be altered to customer’s specifications. The rest of the interior is also customizable per individual request and Novitec finishes this Prancing Horse with a set of black tailights.

Pricing was not disclosed, but buyers can expect to pay a hefty premium over the 612 Scaglietti’s $300,000-plus base price.

2+2-seaters have a long and illustrious tradition at Ferrari. The 612 Scaglietti seamlessly continued this tremendous success story since its debut in the fall of 2003. 2010 Ferrari California supercharged by Novitec Rosso

 Engine tuning using a supercharger is Novitec Rosso’s recipe for making the Ferrari California even more powerful and even sportier.

We don’t think many Ferrari California owners will complain about the lack of horsepower from their 4.3-liter V8 (460 bhp/485 Nm), inadequate acceleration (0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in four seconds with standard 7-speed dual clutch gearbox) or a low top speed 193 mph (310 km/h). This is after all the “entry level” Ferrari and there are “more focused” models in the Scuderia’s range for those who want more.

However, that has not stopped German based tuner Novitec Rosso from turning up the dial. They threw in a cogged belt driven supercharger with 0.4 bar of pressure to produce 606 bhp and 445 lb ft (603 Nm) of torque. As a result, the California now does 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in under 3.8 seconds on to a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h). Besides forced induction, new parts include a water-to-air intercooler, custom intake manifold, larger injectors and a sports exhaust system. A driver switchable integrated flap mechanism controls the intensity of the exhaust note.

Exterior add ons include a front spoiler, rear diffuser and spoiler lip, all wind tunnel tested to reduce high speed lift on both axles. New rocker panels with integrated airfoils and black side markers are the changes you’ll see on the profile. What’s also apparent is a carbon-fiber strip surrounding the number plate. the bodykit works well with those three-piece Novitec NF3 wheels of 21 inches up front and 22 inches at the back, wrapped with special order Pirellis measuring 255/30 and 315/25, respectively.

Sport springs lower ride height by 35 mm, and there’s a cool hydraulic lift system for the front axle that can raise the California’s chin by 40 mm at the push of a button, making it easier to traverse speed bumps and car park ramps. The original position resumes if you push the button again or automatically upon reaching 50 mph (80 km/h).

Novitec Rosso "848 RACE" Ferrari 599

Novitec Rosso has struck once again with an even more powerful version of the Ferrari 599 GTB. Thanks to some new turbine blades on the superchargers, some modified piping and a retuned ECU, the twin-supercharged V12 engine has been bumped from the last 808-hp tuning phase all the way up to 848-hp. Novitec claims a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 214 mph.

Painted in matte white and black and including all of the Novitec accessories, like a special aero kit, 20 and 21-inch wheels with a massive brake upgrade and a height adjustable suspension, Novitec will build just three 848 Race models.

The car was officially revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show this week. I will keep you up to date on the latest news of the Ferraris being shown at the show.
