Ferrari Store opened in Bucharest, Romania

After getting an official dealership back in 2008, Romania just got a Ferrari Store. The store is located in downtown Bucharest, in Calea Victoriei, has three levels and 500 square meters, which makes it the second largest one in Europe, just below the Milan store.

Important guests like Massimiliano Ferrari, Ferrari Licensing and Retail Director, Ion Bazac, President of Forza Rossa, arrived at the grand opening , but all eyes were on the special guest, Ferrari’s F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella. Fisichella’s part in the grand opening included cutting the ribbon, signing the counter and greeting the fans.

“Ferrari is a dream and a whole ensemble of special values: sportivity, fun to drive, performance, excellence and quality. Values that Ferrari has been cultivating for more than 60 years. There is a true effervescence for the Ferrari spirit and lifestyle among its fans, passionates and owners, despite age and status. The Bucharest Ferrari Store will join the other stores in Milan, Rome and Venice (Italy), London (UK), Barcelona (Spain), Athens (Greece), San Francisco and Miami (USA), Macao (China) and Dubai (UAE), the largest in the world. Their aim is to market the Ferrari brand, as Ferrari Stores all over the world. To offer the fans everything from caps to F1 car parts. The Ferrari Store concept was recently adopted by Lamborghini, which opened such a store outside Malibu, near Los Angeles.

Ferrari Store in Athens, Greece

The first Ferrari Store in Greece was inaugurated yesterday, November 24th, 2009. in the heart of Athens, on Kolokotroni Street. A special selection of Ferraris, displayed in front of the store, framed the ribbon cutting ceremony, with Massimiliano Ferrari, Ferrari Licensing and Retail Director, Theodore N. Charagionis, Charagionis Group Executive Chairman, and Giancarlo Fisichella, Ferrari driver, who officially inaugurated the store, then signed the counter and greeted the fans.

Located in a historic building of the city, the around 30 square meter Ferrari Store is spread over two floors, with six windows providing a fascinating view of the Ferrari experience already from the street. It was developed entirely by the Studio Iosa Ghini. A replica of the Formula 1 single-seater welcomes visitors as they enter, while a pit-lane traced on the ground accompanies them into the shop and leads them to the various areas into which it is divided. It will offer a wide selection of products from the Prancing Horse for GT owners, enthusiasts and Ferrari fans.

The Athens Ferrari Store joins the other prestige Prancing Horse retail locations around the world, including those in Milan, Rome and Venice (Italy), London (UK), Barcelona (Spain), San Francisco and Miami (USA), Macao (China), and Dubai (UAE), the largest in the world, inaugurated this month. Ferrari Store Athens will be managed by the Charagionis Group, specialized in the investment, development and management of retail, shopping and leisure centers as well as the expansion of retail activities. The Ferrari Store development program includes plans to bring the number of openings to more than 50 over the next two years in Europe, America, and the Middle and Far East.
